Medics Clinic Joins Omnibsic Bank Health Walk

Medics Clinic took part in the Omnibsic Bank health walk on Saturday, 21st February 2026, at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

This landmark 10th edition, themed “Better Health Starts Here,” celebrated a decade of promoting wellness and healthy living, while highlighting Omnibsic Bank’s dedication to healthier lifestyles among staff, clients, partners, and the wider public.

Following nine successful editions, the 2026 walk offered another energising and rewarding experience. Participants arrived in comfortable athletic wear, many in company-branded T-shirts, ready for a morning of movement, networking, and community engagement.

Participants began the morning with a brisk walk around some parts of Legon, promoting cardiovascular fitness and setting a lively tone for the day. Afterwards, a guided aerobics session helped attendees stretch, strengthen, and engage their muscles, emphasising the importance of movement in maintaining overall health.

The outreach focused on prevention and public health awareness. To support this goal, Medics Clinic provided free screenings, including blood pressure checks, blood sugar testing, and BMI assessments. These services enabled participants to better understand their health numbers and take early steps toward improved wellbeing.

Visitors also received complimentary consultations with a dietitian and psychologist. In doing so, attendees gained practical advice on nutrition, stress management, and healthy lifestyle choices. The interactive sessions encouraged active learning and engagement with health professionals.

Adding to the excitement, Samini delivered a surprise performance after the walk and aerobics session. This thrilled participants, bringing high energy, laughter, and celebration to the morning’s wellness activities.
