Dr Ama Koranteng is a highly experienced Neonatologist and Paediatrician with over two decades of clinical practice in newborn and child health. She is board-certified in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, with advanced fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine in the United States. Her practice is centred on delivering specialised, evidence-based care to newborns, including premature and medically complex infants, as well as comprehensive paediatric care for growing children.

Dr Koranteng holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Windsor, Canada, and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. She completed her paediatric residency training in New York, followed by a rigorous fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine in Illinois, equipping her with advanced expertise in neonatal intensive care, high-risk deliveries, and early-life medical management.

Throughout her career, Dr Koranteng has served as an attending paediatrician and neonatologist across multiple healthcare systems in the United States, gaining extensive experience in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs), academic settings, and community-based hospitals. She has managed a broad spectrum of neonatal and paediatric conditions, combining clinical precision with calm, reassuring care for both infants and their families.
